About Us

TraceTech Solutions, LLC was founded in May, 2009 by Steven Schottenfeld, a software engineer with over thirty-five years of development experience.

From 2002 to 2009 Mr. Schottenfeld was the IT Director at Gray, Gray & Gray LLP, a large, mid-tier accounting firm. While there he realized that accountants and business executives alike lack the expertise, the tools, the time, the resources or the budget to uncover even the most common fraud schemes, leaving most businesses that have employees who handle cash or the books vulnerable to fraud.

Mr. Schottenfeld left Gray, Gray & Gray in 2009 to develop technology that exposes signs of fraud in a business’ books.  TraceTech Solutions uses that same technology to also help organizations uncover non-fraudulent ledger errors and accounting control deficiencies.
